’Even in front of nature one must compose.’ - Edgar Degas.
This course is a perfect opportunity for you to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of composition and how when creating work can learn to lead the viewer’s eye through the painting using a variety of techniques. Done successfully, good composition draws the viewer in and then moves the his eye across the whole painting so that everything is taken in, finally settling on the main subject of the painting.
During this 2 day course you will learn how to build a successful composition whether your painting is abstract or representational, and regardless of a subject matter. You will find out how over the centuries some of the best artists developed composition techniques and placed hidden messages in their work.
There will be plenty of discussions, practical exercises, which will lead you to produce one medium size painting. Join this unique workshop to discover composition tricks from best artists!
If you have an idea to create some art work personal to you, but don’t know where to start or struggle to go through the process on your own, then this is a perfect opportunity for you.
