During this workshop you develop your confidence, skills, knowledge and understanding of drawing:

  • You will have fun eliminating any fear of drawing or untruths you may have been told that you can’t draw

  • Exploring various techniques and approaches drawing

  • Be taught some helpful strategies for how to observe what we are drawing

  • Have the opportunity to produce a number of sketches using different medium

  • Develop a more substantial drawing in the afternoon

  • Look at some key artists and draw upon their work

  • Leave inspired to continue drawing

 

Pennie Lordan is an artist and teacher with a 1st class honours in Education, Art & Design and recently trained for 3 years recently at Leith School of Art in Edinburgh. Pennie has been teaching young people and adults for many years, as well as producing and selling her own work in recent years. Pennie has been selected to exhibit in York Open Studios 2020 www.pennielordan.com

Terms and conditions: A 50% deposit is required to book a place on any course or workshop with the balance due the week before the start date. In the unlikely event we have to can cel a course or workshop you deposit will be returned to you in full. Should you have to cancel a your place on a workshop or course, your deposit will be returned to you or transferred to another course if your cancellation is 7 days or more before the commencement of the courses or workshop. If less than 7 days notice is given the deposit is non refundable unless we can fill your place in which case it shall be returned to you.
