STUDY PEN & INK/WASH TECHNIQUES OF ARTISTS IN THE AGE OF ROMANTIC REVOLUTION LATE 18TH - EARLY 19 CENTURY

WE WILL FOCUS ON WILLIAM BLAKE, THE GREAT POETIC VISIONARY ALSO THE DARK "GOTHIC" VISIONARY HENRY FUSELI. DURING THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL USE DIP PENS, LAY WASHES, HINE YOUR DRAWING SKILLS, USE DRY BRUSHA DN STUDY NEW TECHNIQUES, INSPIRED BY COPYING A WORK OR WORKS FROM THE 'AGE OF REVOLUTION & APOCALYPSE' - A TIME OF GREAT ARTISTIC INVENTION IN 19TH - EARLY 19TH CENTURY BRITAIN.                                                                                                    

TUTOR TIM MORRISON TRAINED AT THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART AND EDINBURGH, HAS EXHIBITED IN YORK AND LONDON AND HAS MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE TEACHING SUCCESSFUL, VARIED AND INTERESTING AND ADULT ART CLASSES. TIM IS REGULARLY PART OF YORK OPEN STUDIOS.
