The new understanding you get from this workshop will help you take your watercolour painting to a higher level full of mood and atmosphere and, even more importantly, will help you convey a personal message with every painting you make.

  • You will start from investigating positive and negative shapes and impressionist approach to watercolour (session will include short videos from artist’s painting demonstrations);
  • A spontaneous mark making and sketching with a brush would give you further confidence in using figures in your work;
  • The next exercise will be focused on painting groups of people as part of a moving landscape;
  • You will then have time to produce personal atmospheric work based on artist’s approach.
